I'm not very familiar with Acrobat and PDF so I'm trying to get an answer here.

I have about 25 PDFs residing on a web server. I want to search them, but my problem is that I do not have access to install Ifilter or any databases. My site is mainly in Flash, but I also have the possibility to publish Javascript, VBscript, Flash 6 and Director 8.5. Can any of these tools search a PDF? I'm mainly interested in getting the title and the headline of the document. I can get someone to generate them for me so I can rename the tags for instance.

Alternatively is there a way of getting eForms to search my documents and returning an answer as a HTML page with the given conditions.

Do I really have to convert my documents back to HTML?????

Any ideas, links or solutions greatly appreciated.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
