Topic: GIF printing problem (Via Email)

I created a Word doc where I embedded several gif images of mathematic
formulae obtained from a web html page, which I'd like to print.
When I printed it directly to my HP DJ 720C or when I printed it to a
*.ps file (for later conversion to *.PDF format), the GIf images
explode in all directions, becoming non-legible.
My homebased system is a Win XP Pro OS + MS Word XP + A Acrobat 505
I may add that the file structure is composed -according to the PDF
Consultant-, from a 665 Kb *.PDF file (similar size for the original
Word original doc), 45% (295 Kb) belong to the images (64 semi
transparent gifs of mathematic formulae, 15 more gifs from MathType +
nearly 7 more small JPG's), 29% (189 Kb) of Content streams (?), 20%
(135 Kb) and 10 TTF embedded subsets and other stuff.
Any ideas to fix this situation pls !
Tks in advance, regards, Carlos
