I am creating .pdf files, when i append those .pdf files using the code given below. However, this code fails when i have 5 pages to be inserted into one PDF file (occasionally it does work fine). Most of times, one or two pages are missing in the final PDF file.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Set PDDocTarget = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
Set PDDocSource = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")

If j = 1 Then App.Path & "\" & XID & ".PDF"
PDDocTarget.Save &H1, App.Path + "\complete.pdf"
Set PDDocTarget = Nothing
Set PDDocSource = Nothing
Else App.Path & "\" & XID & ".PDF"
PDDocSource.Save &H1, App.Path + "\complete" & j & ".pdf" App.Path & "\complete.pdf"
PDDocTarget.InsertPages PDDocTarget.GetNumPages - 1, PDDocSource, 0, PDDocSource.GetNumPages, False
PDDocTarget.Save &H1, App.Path + "\complete.pdf"
MsgBox PDDocTarget.GetNumPages
Set PDDocTarget = Nothing
Set PDDocSource = Nothing

End If

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
