I'm totally new to pdf world. I was reading some documents the whole day. I got some ideas but not much. Somewhere I read, use the form controls and flatten that etc.. I didn't get any idea about this. I don't want to show the user any controls like textbox or something. Once I flatten the textbox, will it become normal text without textbox?? If yes, I can use the form controls.
Here is my problem. I have a project where I've to allow the users to edit the pdf file(s) on the webserver. It's like this. Once the user selects the pdf file, thumbnails of all the pages will be shown to the user. He can select a page and he will be taken to the edit page. Here that page is divided into different areas. (It's predefined) Say, the user selects the top right corner area, (Normally there are 3-4 areas in a page) I've to show the current image (Only one image per area) in that area (if any) and the text in that area in a textarea (html) control. The user can change the text in the textarea and he can change the image in the current area. When he click on save, that page to be saved (as a new file or something) and he can edit the next page. Once he finish editing all the pages, he can click on "Save All" button so that the whole file to be saved as a new file.
I've no idea how to implement this. I really don't know what all third party tools I've to use. Is there any way to implement this without any third party tools?
Thanks in Advance
