Topic: Help - Adobe Crashes with my API
Conf: (P-PDF) Developers, Msg: 78671

I've written an API that is triggered when a AVDocDidOpen message occurs. Upon this message the API merges the newly printed page contents with another file and creates bookmarks and a PageView to the new page. However, the API crashes randomly about 10% of the time. The error message is "Adobe Acrobat 5.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The API always successfully completes the AVDocDidOpen part of my API, but then will crash soon afterward. My API uses error "DURING" and "HANDLER" routines, which do not yield any errors. Do you have any suggestions on how to "debug" this scenario or else have any other ideas?

Thanks,
Mike
