Hi,

I'm using Acrobat 4 for Mac and system 9.1.

I've just been sent a 100-page PDF document that
needs some touchup before it goes to the printer, and
I'm having some problems with it.

1. It was produced on a PC and I've got a Mac. When I
try to edit text it tells me that I "cannot edit text in that
font."

2. I am unable to remove logos and other images that
need to be dropped. I can do it in Illustrator but without
the fonts in my system the text doesn't show up and,
when I save the doc after doing the logo deleting, what
I'm left with is a logoless -- and textless -- document.

What I'm trying to do is delete some logos, add a few
others, make minor text revisions, and that's it. I can't
afford an expensive package of plug-ins.

Can anybody direct me to inexpensive shareware, or a
tutorial that will let me make minor changes?

Thanks.
