I have developed an adobe form (an hr application) which when submitted sends an xml file to an asp page for processing into a database, etc. That part works well. The only remaining part is as follows:

When the user opens a form, it should present them with a real time list of available jobs (ODBC query), I can make it work from a local odbc connection. Further the pdf form is launched from a website where they are able to determine the available jobs. I just need to be able to get that information to the form.

I am not a PDF programmer, but have agreed to help a friend. They are willing to pay to get this completed.

Is this something you could help me with??? If not, do you have a recommendation of who I can turn too??
