Topic: [ADM] clear entries from ADMList

ok, this should be very simple but I guess I am missing something. I just want to clear out everything from the combo box and repopulate it. I have the same routine implemented to clear out a hierarchy list, but it will not work for a standard list.

listRef = sADMItem->GetList(sADMDialog->GetItem(masterDialog, IDC_COMBOSearchA));
num_entry = sADMList->NumberOfEntries(listRef);
for (idx = 0; idx < num_entry; idx++)
sADMList->RemoveEntry(listRef, idx);
sADMItem->Update(sADMDialog->GetItem(masterDialog, IDC_COMBOSearchA));

This seems to work, but the combo list will have a scroll bar and when you hit down on it you will see an empty entry. If you select that empty entry it populates the combo text with the previous entry before the repopulation?!? Is this just another ADM bug or what am I missing?

I am using the Acrobat 5 r4 SDK with MSVisual C++ on windows 2k.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
