Topic: Add textfield to page?

I've tried to look through previous threads but can't find what I'm looking for. What I'd like to do is the following(in Visual Basic):

I want to scan documents and save them as pdf-files to a file-server. I want to insert a textfield with information at the top of every page, therefore the document being scanned will have its size reduced.
Now, later on, I will download the files from the server, put them all into one pdf-document and dynamically insert information from a database into the textfield(same on every page).
I've managed to download the files and through VB and Acrobat SDK put them into a new .pdf which I've saved to the harddrive.

My questions are:
1. How can I insert a textfield into each page via VB-code?
2. How can I reduce the size of the content already inserted on the pages, to give space for my textfield?
3. Can I insert the textfield before saving the file to the server, and later on fill it with the correct information, ID for the textfield maybe?

I guess it has something to do with JSObject, but can't find any methods or properties that work??
Help appreciated!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
