Hi,

I am using Adobe Acrobat 5.0 Type Library with Visual Basic 6.0.
I have an example to search for a specific word in a PDF file (code listed below)

Private Sub cmdStart_Click()

Dim oDocPDF As Acrobat.CAcroAVDoc
Dim i As Integer

' aanmaken van een object
' Set OPDFAPP = CreateObject("acroexch.app")

Set oDocPDF = CreateObject("AcroExch.avDoc")

'opent de pdf file
i = oDocPDF.Open("u:\Bart\manualMySQL.pdf", "u:\Bart\manualMySQL.temp")

'MsgBox i

' i = oDocPDF.FindText("xryutuytyutyut", False, False, False)
If oDocPDF.FindText("xryutuytyutyut", False, False, False) Then
MsgBox "gevonden"
Else
MsgBox "niet gevonden"
End If

'i = oDocPDF.FindText("medisch", False, False, False)

oDocPDF.Close (False)

End Sub

I am a novice to this. Is it possible that somebody could give me some more information
to the above. And if it's possible some more information (i.e some examples with comments and what is possible with this).

Thanks

Bart
