Topic: Batch squence forgot predefined password

Can anyone provide some insight into the following problem that I am experiencing with Adobe Acrobat 5.

I am using the following scenario

I have created a batch sequence using only the Security command, which is configured to use the Adobe Standard Security Option with the following settings:

*password is required for opening document
*the encryption level is set to 40-bit RC-4
The permissions no printing, no changing the document, no content copying or extraction, disabled accessibility and no adding or changing comments and form fields are unchecked.

This sequence is run on one file in a selected input folder and the output location is a specific folder with the standard output options.

When I run this batch the result is a password-protected file. Exactly as I hoped.

And now the problem

When I finish Acrobat and restart it and run the batch again, without making changes to the batch sequence, suddenly the batch sequence is forgot which password it has to use and gives me the possibility to reenter the password.

Is my batch sequence missing a critical step or I have I missed a setting somewhere?

Please give me a solution within acrobat.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
