Topic: PDE layer help

I've been working on a plug in that colors text based on certain criteria,
so naturally I have to sink into the dreaded PDE layer. I have managed to
change the color of text (though not in all PDFs), but the PDFs themselves
become corrupted, sometimes to the point that Acrobat can no longer open
them. My theory is that I'm not releasing something but I don't know what.
I've compared my code to the few samples in the SDK but can't find out what
I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions? Can anyone point me to some info on the
PDE layer that I might be missing.
Thanks in advance.
