OK, so here's what I've done, whats happening (or not as the case is) hopefully *someone* can solve my problem. I've had this working before a few windows installs ago (still winXP though).

1) Installed OfficeXP Pro (no outlook or frontpage, everything else... fully).
2) Installed Adobe Acrobat 5.0
3) Installed Adobe Acrobat update 5.0.5
4) Reboot
5) open wordXP and click the "Save as PDF" button (think thats the one) and I get the error of no Postscript printer found.

So I start over, this time, no 5.0.5 update, see if that makes a difference... no PDF buttons in word at all, so install the update, get the buttons in word this time but still not working.

So I start over *again* this time I install again, without the update, open word, I have the PDF buttons (odd... don't you agree?). Still not working though. Then I install the update... buttons dissapear!

Anyways, to cut a long story short, theres no Distiller printer in my printers "folder" place, that seems to be the problem.

I've download the Adobe PS Drivers (7.2MB!) and those won't install for me (yay adobe!).

After googleing the error I came across a thread which had the exact same case as me, and a solution ( which I've tried and again... no joy.

I'm completely livid right now, I'm just having no luck at all.

Please help before I decide it's time to throw in the towel completely with PDFs.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
