Help.......I'm starting to lose my sanity.......

I'm trying to write some code (on NT 4) to move text/images on a PDF page. I've acquired the PDE content of the page, and used the PDEElementGetElem to get each element.

For each element I get the matrix, change the h & v entries and then set the matrix again (except for containers & groups which I 'drill down' to find the elements inside, and text elements which I use the appropriate commands for).

However, I'm still finding this isn't moving all things on the page. I've even put code in my plugin to tell me the PDEType of the current element the code is processing (in case I missed a particular element type on the page), but I still cannot see what I'm missing.

If I right-click the element on the page in Acrobat, I notice it has a 'delete clip' entry in the list. All the elements I can move don't have this option.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks for your help,

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
