Topic: Word has insufficient memory error message

It seems that, using Windows XP and Adobe Acrobat 5.0, large word documents (something like 2,000 KB) cannot be converted into tagged pdf files.
"Adobe Distiller" will convert them quickly, but without active hyperlinks.
Using Adobe Acrobat for conversion, I get an error message (only when converting larger files) that says:
" Word has insufficient memory. You will not be able to undo this action once it is completed. Do you want to continue?"
You may continue successfully, yet the resulting pdf file seems to be corrupted: posted on the net the file cannot be opened (blank screen).
Also, isn't there a way to convert large .doc files with photos and hyperlinks into tagged .pdf files more quickly? My files take 20 minutes to convert, which is a real hassle.
