This question breaks down somewhat in to 2 different questions.

1. The following code does print from within acrobat but does it look right (in-so-far as that it should print to any printer correctly

2. When i attempt to call the function from my extern function i get a memory expception error. I've tried calling this function from VB and have tried many variations on a theme here. Is there some initialization i need to do first?

Here is the code im using, i know its not what you would expect but im just trying to get it to work so far:

ACCB1 void ACCB2 Print(void *data)

CString PrinterName = "[Printername]";
CString PrinterDriver = "[printerdriver]";
CString PrinterPort = "[printerport]";
CString FileLongName = "C:\\Temp.pdf";

AVDocPrintParamsRec pstruct;
ASPlatformPrinterSpecRec pSpec;
AVDoc myDoc = AVDocOpenFromFile((ASPathName)(LPCTSTR) FileLongName, ASGetDefaultFileSys(),NULL);

memset(&pstruct, 0, sizeof(AVDocPrintParamsRec));
memset(&pSpec, 0, sizeof(ASPlatformPrinterSpecRec));

pSpec.size = sizeof(ASPlatformPrinterSpecRec);
pSpec.createMetaFile = false;

pstruct.size = sizeof(AVDocPrintParamsRec);
pstruct.emitToPrinter = true;
pstruct.firstPage = -1;
pstruct.shrinkToFit = false;
pstruct.binaryOK = false;
pstruct.TTasT42 = false;
pstruct.embedded = false;
pstruct.printAsImage = false;
pstruct.reverse = false;
pstruct.printerHasFarEastFonts = false;
pstruct.printerSpec = &pSpec;
pstruct.reverse = false;

AVDocPrintPagesWithParams(myDoc, &pstruct);

extern "C" void PASCAL EXPORT DoDocPrint(LPCTSTR PrinterName, LPCTSTR PrinterDriver, LPCTSTR PrinterPort, LPCTSTR FileLongName)
