Topic: Positioning problem when drawing using Windows DC

Hi,

I am using Windows DC to draw a transparent rectangle around a word whenever user clicks on the word. My problem is sometimes the rectangle can drawn exactly covering the word but whenever I try to change the zoom factor, resize windows or even scroll the window, the rectangle will be drawn in other place else. Following are my codes

ACCB1 ASBool ACCB2 OnMouseClickProc (AVPageView pageView,
ASInt16 x, ASInt16 y, ASInt16 flags, ASInt16 clickNo, void* data)
{
// procedures to find a word based on x and y
// codes omitted for clarity

// found the word
AVFixedRect destRect;
AVRect ddestRect;

PDWordGetNthQuad(myWord, 0, &quad);
QuadToRect(&quad, &destRect);

AVPageViewDeviceRectToPage(pageView, &ddestRect, &destRect);

ASFixedMatrix matrix;

AVPageViewGetPageToDevMatrix(pageView, &matrix);

ASFixedMatrixTransformRect(&destRect, &matrix, &destRect);

int height = ddestRect.bottom - ddestRect.top;
int width = ddestRect.right - ddestRect.left;
int left = (int)ASFixedToFloat(destRec.left);
int top = (int)ASFixedToFloat(destRec.top) - height;

// then draw the rectangle with left, top, width and height

}

Any help is much appreciated.
