Topic: Populate PDF Fields from an HTML Form

Hello All.

Currently I pass a querystring into a PDF document and use JS within the PDF to parse the string and populate the fields contained within the PDF.

I am curious if there is a way to fill out an HTML form and submit the data to a PDF document? The PDF will then take the form data and populate the PDF accordingly.

Another question is would this be the preferable method to populate PDF fields or am I better off using the querystring parse?

My last question is I know there is a limitation on how much data you can pass to a PDF in the querystring, but what is this limitation? I have not been able to find this information anywhere.

I use Acrobat 5 (full-version), ASP (vb), and JS, SQL Server 7.0.

Thanks in advance,
Matt
