Topic: Converting Broderbund Print Shop version 15 files to pdf

We have Broderbund's Print Shop version 15 software which has a built in pdf converter. We are considering using Adobe Acrobat or another converter for the following reasons:

We are not able to extract text or graphics from the created files; we are not able to set the resolution over 300 and this is needed to go to a printer, we are having conversion problems when we have text that has been threaded through several pages as in extremely long articles in a three column format that extend for 5-6 pages.

Can anyone make any recommendations on what to do and if we do select another program for the conversion, how will we prepare the files for the conversion and what is involved?
