I'm building a site for my brother which has created a bit of a challenge for me...

The basic structure of the site has a user log in to access the PDF files but we want to make sure that the PDF themselves cannot be bookmarked. As a result, I inserted a password into the PDF itself. But that makes the user have to enter two password to view the pdf files: one to log into to the site and another to view the actual file. In addition, the user would have to re-enter tha password everytime they want to see a different PDF file.

Ultimately, we want the user to log in and have access to the PDF files without having to use another security measure to access the restricted PDF files.

Anybody have any ideas how a user could log in and access the files? Someone who isn't registered would not be able to acees them if they didn't have the site's username and password. These are assigned when a user registers.
