Did they do it again: kill off the middle-ground product represented by Business Tools and Approval?!

I see no mention of such a product in the recent announcements of Acrobat 6. I am again shocked. Six months ago I questioned whether the rights-enabling product would kill off the need for such a product. Planet PDF reported (http://www.planetpdf.com/mainpage.asp?webpageid=2429): "So if you've invested in Approval or are looking to do so, at least as of right now the official word is that Approval will remain part of the Acrobat clan. That seems a right and necessary decision, given that the announced pricing of the new server-based solutions is well beyond what all but Adobe's large enterprise customers are likely to find justifiable. Approval offers an economical 'Plan B' solution to small developers and user groups."

If the pricing mentioned holds and there are no plans for a reasonably priced Business Tools/Approval type product, there will be nowhere for folks who need such a product to go but elsewhere.
