Acrobat 6 isn't likely to solve this problem. Like most new releases of
software, this one is likely to be larger than the previous.
I think the most prudent solution would be to just make sure that
Acrobat is already open before the user browses to your Web site.
There are some alternatives for viewing PDFs online. One that we
recently announced at Planet PDF is from a company called Glyph & Cog --

this
myself nor do I know if it's suitable on the Web, but it's worth
investigating if this is really important to you.
