Topic: Adobe plug-in detection script in Flash

Hello,

I need help with the following issue. I've been trying to work it out
but have some problems with this script/solution working on Mac. I
need a script that will work both on PC and Mac that will detect an
Adobe plug-in from a flash movie.

The way it's set up is I have a flash navigation menu which is
embeded into an html page. I have one link on that menu which calls
for download of a pdf file. I want the flash to check for a plug-in on
release function, so that it detects if the Adobe plug-in is present or
not. I got a code which works on PC but it's not good enough because
it doesn't work on Macintosh. Please help me with finding script or a
solution that will work on both platforms and detect the plug-in. I
want the script to send a viewer to another page if the plug-in is not
found.

Thanks, I appreciate your help.
