Topic: Acrobat Approval ???

Where does Acrobat Approval fit into Adobe's scheme of things for Acrobat 6? I haven't been able to find anything on Adobe's site re: an Acrobat Approval 6 upgrade. Are they hoping that it will just go away (like when they tried to kill Acrobat Business Tools 4 . . . which got quickly upgraded and marketed as Acrobat Approval 5)? Are they trying to force Approval users to go to Acrobat 6 Standard, since it apparently allows users to save changed PDFs (but not create forms)?

The reason I'm asking is that we have PDF versions of our forms available for download and use by our customers. These forms can be quite lengthy and our customers need the ability to fill them in and SAVE them before printing. If they didn't need the full version of Acrobat, they had the option of buying Acrobat Business Tools, then Acrobat Approval, in order to SAVE filled-in forms. What options do they have now? Will we still be able to support them in Acrobat 6 by saving PDFs to Acrobat 4 version with 40-bit encryption? Or has that option been taken away in Acrobat 6?

Thanks!

Catherine
