Hello,

I am a Programmer/Analyst in and am looking for a solution that we are presently faced with. We are having a problem with Microsoft Word 2000. Adobe Type 1 fonts have been added to our system and we are unable to view them in the Symbol Font List. After a number of searches on the Microsoft Support Web Site, I was able to find a solution to add fonts to the Symbol Font List for Microsoft Word for the Macintosh 6.0 and 6.0.1 but was unable to find a solution for Microsoft Word 2000 for Windows. We need to be able to view the PostScript fonts in order to create PDF/X-1a files for printing.

With Extensis SuitCase 9 we are able to view Adobe Type 1 fonts in most of the Fonts List in Microsoft Word 2000 but not in the Font List for Symbols.

We need PostScript Type 1 fonts to be listed under
Format/Bullet and Numbering/Customize/Bullet/Font list.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Annie
