Topic: AVToolButtonSetMenu not working as documented?

Well, I worked around my last problem with menus, so here's another:

Has anyone gotten AVToolButtonSetMenu() to work as documented when no execute proc is set? The docs say that in this case, the menu will appear immediately when the button is clicked, as opposed to having to hold the mouse button down.

However, in my experience, the tool button is always disabled (and my ComputeEnabled callback is never called) if I do not set an execute proc, and if I do set an execute proc, I have to hold the mouse down on the button to get the menu to display.

Has anyone experienced this, or alternatively, gotten this to work as documented?

thanks,
Lee
