A couple of things...
1) PDFWriter is going away with Acrobat 6 (and was pretty dead in Acrobat
5). You should therefore consider using a better approach (ie. Distiller).
2) Acrobat can't be used on a server to allow non-licensed users to access
its functionality. So if this was your intent, you'll need to move to a
3rd party PDF generation solution.

for documentation and sample code for automating Distiller...
