I desperately need help. I am searching for a way to go through about 1000 files and insert a bookmark as the main child of /root that is a link back to the main.pdf document on a cd.
Let me see if I can explain better. My company produces CD's with hospital specific data on it. We have about 5 reports that have to change with each CD. There is a menu on the cd that points to the generic report name. I have a VB program that copies the specific files from a folder and renames it to the generic name. That way my link off of the main menu to the specific files isn't broken. What I have is 5 folders containing about 1000 pdf documents that all need a "Return to Main Menu" bookmark directing them back to "./main.pdf". Currently I have to do this by hand and it is NOT FUN!
I have a VBA module that will open the documents, read the bookmark, create it in the proper place if it is not there, save the document and close it, but I can't figure out what the call is in VB to set the action to go back to main.pdf. Please, somebody help. I have three days before I have to do this again and I am about ready to scream at the thought of having to open each one of these up again.
