Hello all,

I am trying to find a way of automatically creating a bookmark for a .pdf file from the NAME of the pdf file.

What I have is a pdf document comprising 900 plus pages of cad drawings that have been converted to pdf files. The document was made by merging the individual pdf files, each file being one page. What I would like to do is automatically create bookmarks or links to each page within the master document. Since I have to update the drawings periodically, a batch process or macro would be better. Ultimately, since each page has a drawing number located in the exact same location, it would be really nice if the bookmark for a page could be created by a text string search ON that page.

Any one have any ideas???

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
