I work for a small printing company. We receive pdf files from customers all the time. We work on both Macs and PCs, but we print the pdf files from the pc due to resolution restrictions and we print to a Apple LaserWriter 8500.
The problem is: Some pdf documents print out with the fonts/type screened. It is 100% black on the monitor but prints screened. Is this an issue on our end or the end of the customer. This is not a 1 time problem. We receive different files from different customers that this happens with. We have even received a multi-paged document that printed with some of the type printing at 100% black on some pages and some printing screened on other pages. What can I do??? At this point I am totally frustrated!!!!!
