Is anyone else dismal led by the lack of thought put into Reader 6 index feature? It seems to me, every time you close and reopen Reader, you have to reselect the option to use the indexes. You also lose your Search results view settings (created, modified,etc.c.).

Using it's Searching capabilities on an index made from Acrobat 5, it tells me the documents have been modified, since the index. This is not true because they haven't been modified since the indexing took place. I have also noticed that there is no longer a 'next and previous highlight' button like there used to be.

Am I just missing the boat? Is the CONVENIENT Searching with indexes feature forever gone? Or is this an upgrade we avoid and hope for better intelligence and thought on version 7.......
