I agree, after a few tests (Mac OSX.2.6) Reader 6 looks like a
downgrade more than an upgrade:
- bookmarks don't works properly. I need to right-clic and choose a
menu item to go to the destination or to launch the attached JavaScript
function...
It's very usefull with pop-up menus ;-(
- the new "Search" function don't recognise some Index files, it just
says that they need to be upgraded, not saying "how". Let me supposing
that this require users to buy the new Acrobat Pro...
It no more explain how to "upgrade" those dozens of Index files that
were burned on CD-Roms since so many years...
- PDF viewer is now a Windows-only feature
- Transitions are terribly slow, slow, slow.........zzzzzzzzzz
Are there any other innovations than the "Save as text" function, and
all those nice designed icons?
