Topic: getselectedtext?

I'm using the Adobe 4.0 vb Library. For some reason, I can't find a method that will get the selected text. There is a method to create a selection (avdoc.createtextselection), but I need to do a get instead.

My user selects text, and I need my app to get the CAcroRect associated with that text selection. There is a method in the core api (avdocgetselection), but it doesn't show up in the VB library.

I need to find a way to:

set CAcroPDTextSelect = CAcroAVDoc.GetSelection

or something like it

I thought it was:

set CAcroRect = CAcroPDTextSelect.GetBoundingRect

but the textselect object has to be set to a specific select object for it to work. I can't find a method that will associate the textselect to the current selection.

Please help. =)
