With the greatest of respect to your comfort with Millemium (even some Mother's cooking was bad), the number of crashes and overall instability of Millenium has caused many users, including the writer, to replace this disfavored operating system with Win2000 or WinXP.
Actually, I think Adobe is doing the user community a favor by not having its product available to such a discredited OS. Or perhaps Adobe realize the massive support problems to be faced not of their own making.
When you trash Millenium and come into the sunlight you will be thankful unto Adobe for the rescue.
