Dov,

You're one of the most reasonable people I know at Adobe-Land so I
don't want you to think I'm starting an argument.

However, let's say I create a PDF document from InDesign. If I need
to add comments along with the document to my editorial team, I
can't risk to use Acrobat 6. What happens if one member of the team
is on an old iBook and isn't running OS X. Her machine is really too old
to tell her to upgrade to OS X.

But as soon as I open the PDF in Acrobat 6, I'm stuck in an "OS X
ONLY" world.

And we're not talking about anyone adding their own comments.
We're talking someone just being able to read mine.

So, unless I'm willing to buy every member of my editorial team a
new Mac (NOT going to happen), I can't afford to open Acrobat 6 at
all. Of course, if everyone on my team is running Windows, then we
have no problem. Hmmmm, what should I be telling people is the
"preferred OS" for Acrobat workflows.

So I'm going to not install that new copy of Acrobat I bought on
Amazon.com, and wait a few years for either everyone to upgrade to
Mac OS X (not going to happen that soon), or wait till the Mac OS
becomes extinct.
