Why, Dov,O why hath great Adobe forsaken us by introducing a new skinny glyph Cross in the checkbox character set while tantalizing the user base by retaining the remaining glyphs which still look like the Zapf characters?

Although I have the Zapf Dingbats typeface independently licensed, I must now check whether my forms will retain the Zapf cross on OTHER PCs which have Acrobat Reader 6.0 exclusively installed and no Zapf installation/license. If so the appearance of my forms will be altered dramatically.
