Topic: dynamically adding image (jpg) to pdf (w/ TallComponents)

I am currently using TallStamp.NET to dynamically stamp text and images in a PDF file. I'm not sure if anyone else out there has used TallComponent products before, but I figured I'd give this a shot. Note: code is in VB.NET.

I can stamp text (& write out the PDF) just fine -- by adding the TextShape object that I create to the Layer collection. In fact, I can use all the other Shape objects (RectangleShape, BezierShape, etc) with no problem whatsoever. However, I have problems when I attempt to use the ImageShape object and try to add it to the Layer collection. After adding the object to the collection, I attempt to write out the PDF ---document.Write(binarywriterobj) - document being the TallComponent document object --- I receive the cryptic error: "Invalid parameter used." As I stated before, this error ONLY occurs when I use the ImageShape object. Sample code for adding the ImageShape to the Layer collection follows:

Dim document As TallComponents.PDF.Document = New Document(binaryreaderobj)
Dim page As Page = document.Pages(0)
Dim image As ImageShape = New ImageShape(strFullProdImgPath)

image.Width = 180
image.Height = 103
image.X = 234
image.Y = 432

Can anyone that has used TallStamp spot something that I have overlooked? ANY suggestions/comments would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks in advance for any input.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
