Not possible.

Have you discussed upgrade pricing with Adobe - or just looked at
list pricing?

Remember that byte-serving on the server side, ALSO requires that
the PDF file be linearized ("Fast Web View" enabled). Is your document?
Also, have you consider alternative approaches to PDF availability
such as dynamic access to specific chapters or sections??
