OK. After I posted this, I realized that the web link that wasn't
working was trying to run address line javascript, as in:

javascript:window.open("http://www.planetpdf.com")

So apparently this sort of thing won't work from either Reader as
opposed to Acrobat, or from version 6 as opposed to 5. Does anyone know
which one it is?
