We have a client who uses our web service to take HTML web pages and generate PDF docs using Adobe Acrobat 4 (their company standard). Testing has identified that the conversion from HTML to PDF is less than satisfactory - Acrobat 4 doesn't seem to recognize the cascading style sheet and as a result the text pitch is too large and tables are misplaced.
I've been advised that Acrobat 5 handles CSS but not as Internet Explorer does. Can someone advise whether version 6 is any better at handling this. We use ActivePDF which works fine but they are stuck with Adobe as their company standard so the only options are to upgrade (if appropriate) or generate the PD for them (not preferred).
