'6 Professional' seems the only way to go when it comes to 'upgrading' - as usual Adobe are not greedy when it comes to upgrade pricing, and as it is the only version with Catalog...
A more interesting question would be to ask prospective new ussers of Acrobat which version they are going to buy (I'd guess that many go for Standard, and never realise that other features - e.g. Catalog - even exist) and whether the significant price increase means that they will buy fewer seats.
Or even look to a non-Adobe solution...
Time will tell, I guess.
