hi forum,
Is it true you have to buy expensive applications directly from Adobe to be able to add Metadata or XMP data to a PDF file.
Adobe Acrobat 5 lets you view the XMP data but not add or alter it.
I am currently maintaining a system of 50,000 TIF images with a table in MS SQL Server 7. Each record corresponds to one TIF file and has a pointer to it. I was hoping I could find a way to automate (maybe a COM object) Turning the TIFs into PDFs and attaching the relative info from SQL Server.
Does Adobe Acrobat 6 Pro let you do this?
This sounds like it should be something easy to do.
Thanks,
Matt
