Then they are professional Acrobat users. They are NOT the
average office person (aka secretary, management, etc.)

True, but how many of them like the process of CREATING a
Catalog. It is NOT a process for the masses - hell, even I never bother
to create one for all the PDF's on my disk since it's a pain!! And then
there is remembering to update it, etc.

Now, if Acrobat would auto-Catalog and Index (ala Sherlock on Mac
OS), THAT would be a good thing!

I'm sure many people disagree - if we all agreed, it would be
boring around here ;).

But Adobe marketing had to make some decisions and I am sure they
looked pretty hard at numbers, market segments, etc.
