A couple of "heads up" fact for those working with e-mail Review
and Commenting features.

The Send by Email for Review feature in Acrobat 6 creates a file
labeled FDF.

This FDF file is not a regular FDF that might have been created by
someone using Acrobat 5. It is a special FDF that contains the
original PDF in an FDF wrapper.

This FDF can not be opened by someone working with Acrobat 5.
This means that if you want to use the new Send by Email for
Review feature, everyone in the loop needs to have Acrobat 6.

If not, you need to e-mail the ordinary PDF document, not the new
FDF document. Then you can import/export comments using the
commands in the Document window.

Also, for anyone who was hunting around to change the appearance
(color, icon, or author) of notes, the Properties command is no
longer under the Edit menu. It is a contextual menu accessed by a
right-click (win) or control-click (mac).

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
