Hi everyone,

I'm a new-comer to planetpdf, and I'm hoping you may have some suggestions
for me. I working on developing a java pdf library with support for
referenced true type fonts (no embedding yet). It's working very well with
the exception of the great "bad /BBox" error that I'm sure most of you are
familiar with.

I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions on how to eliminate this
message box. I would rather not read the .ttf files, and rely instead on
Java's Font, and Font-related, classes. I know that I can retrieve the
bounding box from the head table of the ttf files, but we have not settled
on a way to access the .ttf files on our system just yet, and so I am
restricted from using them for now (NativeFontWrapper seems to work well for
Windows anyway).

I'm currently using Font.getMaxCharBounds(...), which seems to work most of
the time. However, there are some fonts that seem to always complain about
the bounding box. Arial Black comes to mind.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
