I have recently developed a PDF file that contains a form which is populated by a CGI Script using the XPDF method. Both myself and my colleagues have tested the form by printing it and the results are perfect everytime. I then proceeded to install the PDF form on our live intranet system for all users to reference. I have just received a support query informing me that the alignment of the text fields/variables does not align up correctly on the form. Furthermore there are paragraphs in the PDF document that are static text, for some unknown reason all the spaces have been removed thus making the text unreadable.
Please find attached a JPEG image of the form that illustrates the problem.
I am wondering whether it is their printer - perhaps it is not 100% compatible with PDF. Or could it be that they have an older version of PDF installed?
Any help you could provides would be muchly appreciated.
