We had a file that gave odd results (sequence of object layering was swapped, putting graphics on top of text, instead of underlaying) when Made Accessible with version 5, so I tried version 6. It did a better job, avoiding the object sequence reshuffle. However, when I used PDF Optimizer to make it PDF 1.4 compatible, the tags root was not reachable in Acrobat 5 (which we need, for the person tweaking the tags is using Acrobat 5). When I did not use PDF Optimizer, it would open and display the Tags root in Acrobat 5, but we'd get the not compatible message at file open time.
Does anybody have any suggestions - is there any known bugs with PDF Optimizer/tags/versions?
