Topic: Acrobat SDK Error 429, creating object
Conf: (P-PDF) Developers, Msg: 91330

Hi all,

I'm trying to convert a Tiff to Pdf with Acrobat SDK 5.0 library and Visual Basic 6.0, But when I run my code It trows an Error:
429: The ActiveX component cannot create the object

My code Is

Dim AcroApp As Acrobat.CAcroApp
Dim AVDoc As Acrobat.CAcroAVDoc
Dim PDDoc As Acrobat.CAcroPDDoc
Dim IsSuccess As Boolean

Set AcroApp = CreateObject("Acrobat.CAcroApp")

I have references to acrobat.tlb and acrodistx.tlb in my project.

Note that its for a commercial stand-alone application, and I've read that SDK is for Free but I'm not sure, so can anybody tell me what I need for developing this application in a legal way.

Thanks.

Pere Codina
