My black and white photos look perfect in Photoshop and PageMaker. When I create a PDF, however, the photograph loses contrast and converts to a flat gray. I've tried the various optimization tips, and experimented with all the photo-related settings. This happens in Standard, High Quality, Press, Press Quality ... all of them.

Anyone else had this problem?
