The flip answer is "you're working on a Mac."

The sincere answer is you're not doing anything wrong. Adobe have
created a total dicotomy between Mac and Windows export from
Office applications.

I'm doing a presentation tomorrow for Thunder Lizard Web Design
Word on Acrobat.

I will have both my Mac and my new Windows machines running
because there are too many features in Acrobat that are Windows
only.

Many people have excused the inequities between the two platforms
as "Microsoft made it very easy for Acrobat Windows to do things
that are no easy to do on the Macintosh."

But this is hardly in keeping with the spirit of John Warnock's
comment that Adobe would not create products with differences
between Mac and Windows.

Of course given recent developments to create a new Premiere,
Adobe Album, and many other products, it is very possible that the
differences between the two platforms will become more severe,
not less.
